As we take precaution with the Corona virus that has reached 115,000 worldwide, including famous actors like Tom Hanks. We tend to reach for products that are labeled “antibacterial,” in hopes that it will offer a thorough eradication of potential germs on our persons? The common antibacterial found in some bar soaps is triclosan, which has become concern amongst environmental, academic and regulatory groups.  They have even performed studies on Animals, with results stating the altercation of hormones in the body.

However, the U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA), states that there isn’t enough science to show that over-the-counter (OTC) antibacterial soaps are better at preventing illness than washing with plain soap and water, and  that the benefits of using antibacterial hand soap haven’t been proven. Therefore, sparking a concern over the the wide use of these products over a long period time, and their potential negative effects on your health.
